- I was born in South Korea and lived with my biological family until I was 9 years old. I was adopted just before I turned 11. Adoption has always been something I've wanted to do. I've been married to my husband, Mike, for 8 years, but we've known each other for 18 years. We have two beautiful boys, James (5), and Tommy (3). We've always known we would have a girl, but that we would have her through adoption was decided after we had Tommy. We began our search to adopt last summer and little did we know the journey would lead to Ethiopia and that we would be blessed with two girls!
